Commemorating 9/11

Today is the 8th anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center Towers in New York City on September 11th, 2001.  What a hard and tragic day it was for all of us, especially those that lost their lives and their families that were civilians and innocent of what the al-Qaeda sought as war.  I can remember exactly where I was when the first tower was hit.  Junior year of high school, coming back from band practice and our director came running through the room to turn the tv on.  All of us stood there in stunned belief.

Where were you on that fateful day?……Leave you comments, or a wish to those that are now gone. You can also leave a thank you to those men and women that are serving our armed forced today and in year past, for the great sacrifice they gave to give us what we have today!
